Jim Rohn urged, “Don’t let your learning lead to knowledge. Let your learning lead to action.” The bottom line when it comes to personal development is action. If your life doesn’t begin to change as a result of what you’re learning, you’re experiencing one of these problems: You’re not giving your
growth plan enough time and attention; you’re focusing too much time on the wrong areas; or you’re not applying what you learn.
He suggests asking yourself these questions anytime you learn something new:
Where can I use it?
When can I use it?
Who else needs to know it?
These questions will help you take your focus off simply acquiring knowledge and put it onto applying what you learn to your life.
